About 25yrs ago I was riding my MX bike and came across a 9yr old girl 6mi from any house in the woods. Luckily my bike was loud because according to her she didn't know there was a trail there or where she was, she just went towards the noise. She was scared to get on the dirtbike because "my parents don't like motorcycles" so I replied "I don't think they will mind". Asked her how she got there, she wasn't sure and thought she it had been "almost all day" that she was trying to get back to her friends house. She was a little dirty but no scrapes or wet shoes, and it was a pretty swampy area. Had her put my helmet on and slowly drove her to the closest house where a woman called the police. Turns out she had been missing for 51hrs, traveled over 10mi, and there had been a search going on for her since a few hours after her friend couldn't find her. She's married now and has 2 daughters herself.

In 2007 I walked out the door with my son from my mom's house to take him to visit his Dad. 15 minutes later the house caught fire and they say the hardwood floors throughout the 4 bedroom house lit up like a Christmas tree. We weren't allowed to go back into the house until 30 days later. The only thing in the bedroom where Me and my Son slept was My Son's Precious Moments Bible. I kinda flipped through the pages, and there was a 20& bill in it. I couldn't take anything.out of the room because the smoke damage and the water day.. His Bible was the only thing that made it. He still has it by his bed today.👼🏼
