Why not add the cheese 🧀 in the batter rather than grate it onto the outside of the scone 🥯 . Maybe while making the scone mixture add a blend of blue cheese with cream fraiche to go inside the batter before baking along with chopped fried egg yokes 🍳 then grate cheese 🧀 over the scones which they're on their way to the oven . Then perhaps serve them with having been sliced in half with sour cream Or savoury yoghurt { dairy Or non dairy } . 👨‍🍳 ♑️✍️🇦🇺🇸🇯

If your scones or biscuits are too dense, try half regular flour (you need some gluten for texture) and half cake flour. (Hint from America's Test Kitchen) 💖🌞🌵😷

No, no, just no... maybe for scones, but still no. Dough looks good but WHERE IS THE CHEESE? Just a sprinkle of cheese on top? Add a cup of whatever cheese you like to the dough, we typically use 1 part medium cheddar, 1 part gouda, 1 part fontina.. then press in a few pieces of a bleu b4 you bake em. The best cheese biscuits or scones you'll have...
