My Anova Precision Oven started making a loud rubbing or grinding sound while the fan is running. This seems to be a defect. Others have had their ovens replaced as well.

Mine stops if I turn it off and back on or by smacking the back of it.

Mine started doing something kind of similar recently- but then, after letting it run, it just, stopped? Making the noise that is. The fan still runs and such, and it does so quieter than I think it used to?

Mine is doing something very similar... they tried to suggest it needed a firmware update... I really don't think that's it. Definitely sounds mechanical

A known issue that can eventually show up and requires replacement under the two year warranty. I might try picking up one side of the oven an inch and dropping it (don't quote me lol). But it's probably the fan has just worn out. There doesn't appear to be a way to replace it.
