Enforcer 104 is by far the least playful 100+mm ski I've ever been on, get the Unleashed if you want to do anything other than ski very fast in variable conditions

Very similar comments about each ski in each category. Are the nuances of each brand not interesting to consumers? I see this to be the number one challenge with skis. Reviewers for the most part read the specs and fill in the blanks with benefits. There’s a need for these reviews to become more authentic and Backcountry could do better given the closerelationships you have to each vendor.

this is so bad... I don't know how they would come to this. While the bent chelter is almost a default option for cat and heli skiing, you can rarely find a deep enough powder day in resorts for practically the widest ski on the market. And the carving section is just a joke, octo should just not be on this list. It's too soft to carv and too narrow to go anywhere else, so maybe best mogul if you're just picking from this list. While I know each person would have their own opinions on whats the best skis, but this list screams "move inventory". Atomic volant is a dead giveaway, by far the most overpriced ski out there, no one is buying but presumptuous Instagram user who only cares about taking pictures. And Prodigy for wemon all mountain? That's a full-on twin tips for freeskiing and park! how is it that the all mountain ski you select is even wider than the freeride one? 106 for women to cruise through groomers? How out of your mind do you have to be to say things like this? 106 is comfortably a women's powder ski, and in this case, it's designed that way. The Prodigy, inparticular the 106 version, is advertised on their website as " freeskiing with the sun-drenched landscapes", I sincerely dare you to daily drive, and carv of them for a season if you believe in what you say. "coming from the east", well have fun ski this in killington. Given more than 50% or even 60% of the time for an "all-mountain" resort skiing is on-piste, this is truly the worst advice you can give for ski buying. THIS VIDEO IS A JOKE.
