Hey everyone. June 15 2022. This happened to my sons iPhone 12 on iOS 15.5 today and using the reset method work. Setting/general/transfer or reset iPhone/ reset/reset network setting. It will ask for you passcode then start the reset. You will see a apple logo and loading bar. Black screen then back to Lock Screen. Go to setting/ Wi-Fi then find your network. It did not affect Bluetooth connections.

If this happened to you after your device turned on, then shut it back down and turn it back on again. It should work, it did for me.

I’m having a bigger problem. My iPhone doesn’t only have wifi greyed out, but also iCloud and Find My, as well as Bluetooth being in a continuous loading cycle. I tried resetting network settings as well as restarting my phone, but that didn’t work.

Had this exact issue and updating my phones software also failed Bluetooth to stop working, had to go to a repair shop and they "Reballed" my wiif chip it worked fine for 2 months but its happening again.
Now again my WIFI button greys out repeatedly but starts working by one of these 2 methods:
1) Hard Reset(Press upVolume, DownVolume, and then hold power button until apple logo appears)
2) Reset Network Settings
its been a month and its annoying to do it again and again

After having tried all the standard methods available (except full factory reset) and nothing worked, I ended up doing the hard core method found on some forum which is making it hot with hair-dryer then putting it in the freezer for a few minutes, and it worked!!! (not sure how long it will last)

I fixed mine just by resetting the network setting twice. Tbh, myself already kinda desperate after the first restart aint changing nothing. Also, this phone aint even a week with me yet. I just bought it, and it’s brand new. Gladly it’s just a software issue for me. I think y’all could just keep doing the reset until it fixed, and hoping it’s not an issue with its hardware.
