Blaine's version is Galaxy by Wyman Jones and Paul Harris. It allows a real shuffle before it begins.

Hey Evan, I just wanted to thank you for doing all of these videos man. I am 14 and a bit shy, but your magic tricks help me go up to complete strangers and astound them. I love doing Pulse and "here then there" which is simple but for some reason amazes them. I also like to do 2 that you do not teach, they are Card to shoe and Descent by Justin Miller.

You inspired me to be a magician and to rise above all my personal stuff. Man, you're my role model. Thank you for sharing your light with all of us.

Ah yes, a stripper deck would be very effective for this trick--you wouldn't even need the crimp anymore!

Awesome trick. Very clearly explained. Thanks DR!

Instead of crimping I just count it's not that hard and you don't bend your cards

Man that's a nice deck of cards. I literally started card tricks with your channel a few weeks ago and it's been awesome practicing with family and friends!!! Thanks for all the tutorials!

Rather than creating a crimp, you can also count the cards, so for the first part, you can count down 25 cards instead of watching the crimp if that's too hard or if it's in an awkward position or too dark for you to notice the break.
For the second part, after you tell them to mix it up, you can count down how many cards they put in that one pile, and when you reveal the cards, just show that amount.
Just another way I found to do it, whichever suits you better, hope it helps!

Jarek I love you're channel and you really do inspire me to rise above. Anyway, I put my own spin on this trick. I ask a member of my audience to pick a card and sign it, and if it is a red card I simply put it in the bottom part of the deck, and if it is a black card I put it in the top part. What ends up happening is that during the reveal, their card is the only card out of their pile. This gives this trick even MORE strength and I use it like this.
Please upvote this so Jarek can see it!

you can simply count 25 cards instead of looking out for a crimp thats barely visible. Also, have you seen Derren browns(devils picturebook) version of this trick? it uses the Gilbreath principle and allows the spectator to shuffle the pack and is much more convincing. Check it out
