the first solution is to hard reboot your apple watch, Press and Hold the digital crown button, and side the apple watch button until you see your apple watch black screen. and wait for a few seconds, Your apple watch will see the startup apple logo on the screen.

and then my apple watch is passcode enable, just enable it and let's me check my apple watch is normal. And I am going in the settings app of apple watch from the home screen.

and yes, it's working now like normal. in your case, your apple watch still not responding to the rotating digital crown button then, follow the next solution.

The next solution is to software update your apple watch.

Press the digital crown button on the apple watch and move your apple watch home screen, Tap on the Settings app, and Find the general option.

Now, Scroll to the Software update option and open it.

then, install a pending software update on your apple watch and start the installation.

To start the installation your apple watch must charge at least 50 percent or Keep on a charge.

still, the issue is not fixed then I recommend to Erase your apple watch settings and content.

Don't worry about that, because your apple watch will keep backup on your paired iPhone then erase, after erased your apple watch. apple watch asks to take the latest backup during the restoring process that we can select from the iPhone setup screen.

On your Paired apple watch, Open Watch app on iPhone, and under the Watch tab, Tap on the General option. now scroll to the Reset option.
And select Erase Apple Watch Content and Settings option.

And Select Erase All Content and Settings. Go with the option after the confirmation.

Had the issue happen to me. None of the suggestions in the video worked but the problem did resolve itself. After trying all the suggestions, nothing worked, including the not listed one of using floss between the crown opening and pulling the string under water. After a week, I found it working again which i attributed to just leaving it on something hot. Was working outside and got sweaty and took my watch off under the sun. Forgot about it after about an hr. Pick up the watch which was hot at this point. Rolled the crown and found it was working. I'm guessing, because nothing else worked, the heat must have loosened the debris or something and the crown could work again. Maybe try this for anyone else with this issue and nothing else worked.

Same problem here! It didn't work for me! This is frustrating ... even Apple's technical assistance in my country advised me to buy a new one !! Come on, this is such a expensive watch and I ended up losing some functions of the watch once the digital crown stopped working !!

Apple, please get rid of that crown button. It stands out, it's easy to get hit and get spoilt. It is not easy to use, not easy to turn.u could replace it with a slide sensor. That would make the watch more compact.

If u really need a mechanical button like on the iphone, then make it hidden inside with just a small part hanging out. I feel a touch slider which activates only on double touching can easily replace this button and make the whole design robust
