What does it mean to be objective? David Kelley discusses the relation of the objective, the intrinsic, and the subjective. He discusses objectivity both in a metaphysical and in an epistemological sense. And he shows why objectivity is essential to the Objectivist conception of reason as an absolute.

Note: This is part of a day-long Intermediate Course in Objectivism that was presented at this summer's Atlas Summit. It is one of only two sessions in the course that were recorded.

Objectivity is simply a relationship between reality and man's consciousness- the right relationship, which means a grasp of a fact. This guy kills me with his over wording.
