COMPONENTS - The boards and tokens and everything are nice. The cards are sturdy, but I found them a bit tough to shuffle and deal. The biggest issue is that there is a TON of stuff between the factions, and it's tough to fit it all on even a large table, especially if you use the advanced automa.

Neat that there is a solo option here. I watched a full competitive playthrough a few months ago and it looks neat. The time to play though seems to be a big barrier. Definintely one of those games that I would happily play on an app (Through the Ages being another), but unlikely to get the board version.

i backed the game.. from what i hear on the automas cause i havent used it yet, i heard that simple mode is TOO simple.. too easy to beat it. and the complex mode is the only way to feel like an actual player is playing with you...BUT complex mode just takes too much space. thats my problem with "complex" mode... it should have been done differently because just using 1-2 complex Ai takes like half a table

When playing solo with automa, do I have to stick to the rules of the basic version of the game? 1 player + automa will always be a game of capitalists versus working class or can I do a different combination of factions?

So do you need the expansion to play this solo or just for the advanced bots? And would this game be playable two-handed instead of the bots?

I can't believe that Hegemony won 3 BGG awards. I have to say that this year's awards were very lackluster.

this game is awful solo. But is probably best game for last few years. Amazubg game top 🔝 1 gor me now. but definitely not a solo.
