I’ve had mine for like 3 months now it’s my first chainsaw. Just last weekend took down 4 large trees with it and cut them all up. Never had a problem with it, never had it serviced, just throw some oil and gas and it works like a charm.

Sorry you lost your composure and tried to emotionally pay back an inanimate object with no soul by means of violence and destruction.  Never understood people who throw tantrums destroying their own property.  I got the same exact saw and out of the box it ran just like what you described on yours.  However, I researched and learned a few things about this particular saw that I didn't apply to my other saws.  First pull the plug and gap it to .028 to .030.  For what ever reason, the plugs seem to be squished too narrow and that makes it very hard to start.  Next, I fine tuned the carb after it warmed up by adjusting the "L" (Low) screw 1st, then the "H" (High) screw at full throttle.  It was very quick and I got it to run at peak performance.  These things come hit or miss from the factory, mostly miss.  It requires one to go through and fine tune their saw.  I learned a lot about tuning carbs and chainsaws in general from my experience with this saw.  It shouldn't be that way, where the owner has to do all this research and homework just to get his or her new saw to run properly.  But that's what it is with this saw.  There should be a disclaimer on the box.  Thanks for the vid

Mine was just hard to restart when it was warm, I did the spark plug gap .30 and never had any other problems with it.

I had the same problem with stalling and now it won't start at all. Service center wants $40 just to look at it. Haven't tossed it against a tree yet but the thought had cross my mind.

New chains stretch the first few times you use them so it's just something you need to keep an eye on. That will also happen with your next chainsaw and with your next new chain! Just fyi.

You have to know how to work on your equipment. the high low setting on the carburetor is the problem they vibrate out of sink. Purple locktite fixes that problem.

you have to adjust the carb when you break it in use tiny flat head screw driver

These chain saws are very cheap. They are pre-adjusted from the factory to work in certain conditions and climates and have all been adjusted the same. The one mistake is relaying on Home Depot to fix something that they have no idea how to fix to start with. If you buy some small needle adjustment tools for that saw and adjust the low carb adjustment in about 1/4 turn, that saw will run perfect. If you own a chain saw, you should learn how to maintenance and adjust yourself. I was once where you're at but I educated myself on them. Take your time with it and don't let it whoop you.

New chainsaws often have quirks during break in and just chainsaws in general. I bought a 32cc for $20 off a guy that couldn’t get it started. When I get it from him it was bone dry. Upon putting gas in it it didn’t seem to want to start, so I let it sit and tried again a minute or two later. Started right up, sometimes you just need a little knowledge and patience instead of blaming the equipment. I also have a new poulan 42cc, had some quirks during break in kept stalling etc, completely fine after a hour or two of use.

haha, I get so pissed when something doesn't work too. I destroyed my old Craftsman chainsaw and trimmer. Got tired of them always giving me problems and taking them to a shop to get fixed. So crushed them with my sledgehammers, F'em. I now have Sthil, Husqvarna and Echo's never had problems with them. Note: I do use the premix 50/50 gas and it has made a huge difference.

I’ve had my poulan pro for 4 years and use it heavily from cutting firewood to felling and clearing land and I’ve had a few minor issues it stalls out a lot but will start right back up, but if you take care of it and don’t use the oversized bar and chains they put on it they will last forever

Don’t let Home Depot fix it. Do it yourself. Do you turn the gas off and start it to let the carburetor drain out the little amount of gas left in it. If not, then it’s not the chainsaw, it’s you. Also, to clean out the carburetor, you can either use carburetor cleaner or brake cleaner. Also, maybe you should tighten the chain, if possible.

I've had one for 6 years. Never had a problem with it. I couldn't count the trees I've dropped with it. And everyone I've seen with one likes it. The problem with saws not wanting to start and idle problems is almost always improperly mixed fuel.
