Grosjean's Bahrain Grand Prix crash was one of the worst we have seen in F1. Luckily, the halo and safety features saved Grosjean's life at Bahrain. However, there will be questions about the safety barriers used at the circuit moving forward. Lewis Hamilton wins the 2020 Bahrain Grand Prix. Alex Albon podiums for second time in his career.

Not sure I can remember such a scary start to a Grand Prix. What safety improvements would you like to see coming from this?

Albon's problem seems to be tire management. He can stay on pace when his tires are fresh, but once they start coming to the end of their life cycles, he starts bleeding time. Perez is seemingly much better at tire management, but that RB is an entirely different car than the one he is driving. A whole different chassis/aero philosophy. And no more Merc power unit to make up for time lost in the corners. I don't know if he will find as much success at RB as everyone seems to think he will.

In any case, even if he does get that seat, it will only be until Tsunoda is ready to move on from F2. I think Red Bull knows Tsunoda will be a better long term solution than Perez, but he still isn't ready. If Honda were staying in F1, I think you would have seen Tsunoda in an Alpha Tauri next year, as he is backed by both Red Bull and Honda. But since now there's no rush to please their engine supplier, we probably won't see Tsunoda in F1 until 2022.

As it always has been, safety is a moving target. Fortunately the systems that were in place all worked, This is an accident type we have never seen before. For those of you who think Grosjean is slow... apparently not...
