We found a genuine 1000cc Twin Cylinder 2 Stroke Dirt Bike....and of course we are going to start it and we are going to ride it!
Team LCH are a french Hillclimb squad and they have built this insane two stroke in order to complete the Arette Montee Impossible Climb. The bike uses two Honda CR500 Motocross motors and in our eyes that means this might just be the worlds craziest two-stroke dirt bike!

and remember to use our dicount code MAX15 for 15% a whole load of products! :-) @24MXofficial

A huge thanks also goes out to Sebastien, Serge, Stephane, Dominique and the rest of the LCH crew for looking after us so well!

I had to giggle watching him, looking back at the roost. Brings every dirt bike rider to his youth when we all use to look back at our roosts. 😅😅 Just watching the dirt fly. I see that never changes no matter how old we get!!

Imagine bolting 8 of these CR500R engines together and putting it in a lightweight car. The acceleration would be insane.

I rode a CR500 for quite a few years and was my favorite, even over the 450R. The power comes on so hard it has ripped the bars right out of my hands a few times. Nothing but fond memories.

I use to ride dirt bikes and go to new and different trails when I was younger. Now I'm 65 and just love to watch the younger generation. Health wise I unfortunately can't do anymore. A 250cc was enough for me. I love your videos Max, so keep up your great work and keep the awesome videos coming. God bless you and all your family and all riders.

Let me get this straight; Custom bottom end built from a 1098 crankshaft, custom aluminium frame (and swingarm) containing not just the fuel tank but also the coolant, and it was all done in like a year or so? That is just incredibly impressive! As an mechanical engineer I feel a bit redundant seeing stuff like
And awesome video as always Max! Really cool seeing you doing this youtube-thing together with your old man. I have followed you since you only had a couple of subscribers, really cool seeing what you have been able to do the last couple of years, hope you are enjoying this as much as us, your viewers!

Hill climbing has to be my favourite spectator sport. Mental machinery with monumental crashes something I’m sure all of us here wanna see more of! Great content Max as always 👍

Even with this tremendous amount of power and torque, the bikes seems to be kinda of smooth to ride. Props to the rider Sebastien for making it looks so easy to handle. I would love to see that in person to get a real idea of how gnarly this bike sounds.

Very high quality content mate.

Thanks for sharing, young man, 62 year old 2stroke junky from the states. Your post made me remember the fun I had back in the mid 70's to mid 80's. I was Enduro back then. 1979 Husqvarna 250 wide range was my poison. I don't care what anyone says, 2strokes rule the turf and personal water craft. The power band is like trying to compare apples to oranges between 2 and 4 stroke. The 4 stroke always fails when you need it most. Have fun and be save out there, and always respect the machine, for it has no feelings or conscience. Cheers 😊

Yes, I definitely want to see this bike in action. Go back and record it in competition if you're able to. Thanks so much for this.

That is one of the most unique bikes I’ve seen in a while. I would love to have a 1000cc two stroke. I’d put mine on an Aprilia RS 250 .

13:58 Damn that sound took me back. When I was a teenager I had a little Kawasaki KDX125 that I used to ride for fun on the fields. One day when I was out riding, a random guy came to ride with us on his CR500. It had no baffles or anything in the exhaust. To this day never heard a louder internal combustion engine in real life. Even through my helmet and the sound of my own bike at full throttle, his bike was simply ear drum shattering.

That engine in a road-race frame would make one hell of a track day bike, - any good two stroke race bike would be an ideal candidate for conversion, what a weapon 🏍🤪

Absolutely insane. Grew up riding a cr500. Still have it. To see those top ends turned into something like this...simply awesome.

Awesome! It runs, behaves and sounds like a 1:8 RC car with a nitro engine. Insane power / weight ratio.

That French man is crazy haha. He gave that a good final rip.

It's amazing how small a 1000cc 2-stroke engine is compared to a 4-stroke. The weight difference must be incredible.

*Perfect for beginner's! Picked 1 up for my 3 yr old the other day. He's breaking ALL the records in the woman's division!* 👌🏼👏🏼

Going back to film the hill climb at Arette Montee with this monster is a must. Even if it fails that event is awesome.
