For anyone in you will need:
12 sticky pistons
18 redstone
 2 redstone torches
 1 Detector rail
 1 dropper
 1 hopper
 1 comparitor
and 3 (to 4 depending on what you are doing) repeaters

Redstone torch right here, a torch like this, and another torch like that, with another torch there. But only 50% of them were actually redstone torches ;_;

Just built this in single player on 1.8.7 and it is still working beautifully. Good work Mumbo.

It would be great to know, at the beginning of the tutorial, which side is going to be the front and where the floor starts relative to the door.

I would advise to everyone to NOT BUILD this door in survival minecraft if you plan on using it more than once. After using it a few times, the piece of redstone (placed in the tutorial at 4:00) gets broken by the extending block storage piston, permanently breaking the door. I've tested this on a vanilla survival server v1.8.9 several times.
Edit: Other people are reporting the same problem in 1.7 too. Do not build this door in any version of minecraft if you don't know how to fix the bug.

I want you to imagine a normal Minecraft world. Now, take away all of the blocks. Now take away all of the redstone. Finally, wherever there was a block or redstone, imagine a redstone torch. Mumbo Jumbo is no ordinary person with this type of dream. He is a man that turns his dreams into reality.

Loved this tutorial. Would be nice to see how to move the lever from where it is now (what would be normally underground) to maybe something above ground, like adjacent to the frame of the door, on the right or left side. I've been working on this for hours and can't find anyways to move the lever.

I watched this at half speed in order to make it along side the tutorial. Needless to say, I've never had more fun building a door.

At 2:30 you said it quite a bunch

It's a challenge cause it's 7 blocks more
Levers toggle on and off
After a while buttons would stop
You should take up engineering
With all of your dang redstone speaking
Mumbo still won't notice me
