One of the oldest winemaking regions of the world; Greek winemaking is steeped in history and entwined in the country's culture. And yet for some time now, its quality has been pegged against cheap retsina and ambiguous jugs on holidays by the sea.

But all that is changing. Greek wine is in the midst of a transformation and fast becoming a producer of 'wines to watch.'

I missed the live version too and am only now just catching up. Confused as I am drinking a glass of ATMA White.. a blend of the red wine grape featured here, Xinomavro, and Malagousia. Tastes fine enough anyway 😊
