For me it comes off that the parent lacks the patience to communicate with their child.

I had this with one of my granddaughters. Followed super nannys advise and kept going. We eventually won and never had the issue again. We do the discaplines that Jo recommends and our grandkids respect us. Their parents don't and have nothing but issues.
