I noticed how the tach lights up when the gas engine is running and then goes dark when on electric only.

I have my Civic 2022 eHEV a while now, its the best Civic I ve ever had (and I had 5 of them, haha). City : 3 liters for 100 Km, Autobahn around 5 to 6 and a half, depending on topsteed you re driving

Honest question: Moving to San Diego for 3 years, currently own a 2019 Mustang GT, paid off. Gets 19mpg at 91 octane which will be killer in CA plus I have to drive the 3K miles across the country. Would it be dumb to trade that car in for this and pay about $3k-4k in difference out the door, but live with a much more manageable car for the next 3 years? This vehicle in hatchback form would be perfect IMO but the mustang is a JOY to drive.

We only have the hybrids in Europe and it is nice in mixed driving and not going over 120kmh on the highway but if you do mostly highway, get the 1.5T because it's way better both in power and fuel economy at higher speeds. It's probably cheaper as well.

The only things I would add are rear a/c, AWD, 360 cam, maybe even rear heated seats, then this would be a perfect car. Otherwise this looks like it’ll be an excellent choice

If this video is a true representation of the cabin noise I’m honestly shocked at how quiet Honda made this new Civic. I’ve always really liked the driving experience in a Civic but the noise was always something that annoyed me. Would love to own this model year especially with its amazing MPG
