The Sicilian is many things, but I’ve never heard it called simple before

I love defending with anything other than e5 or d5 because it throws your enemy off and they don't know what to do so they start panicking and losing time

Sicilian defense is great and all but it’s not practical until you get very good. For an early level, any opening is good and it’s really not worth learning the mountain of theory and once you get to intermediate then there are probably still other openings you can learn that are easier

Oh, yeah. I’m just watching one move of the Sicilian defense and am going to crush my opponents! You have to know the lines that you play, even 10-25 moves of theory. I do know the Najdorf, Taimonov, Kan, anf Closed Sicilian. Just because you know 1.c5 doesn’t mean you will win. Don’t listen to him.

I tried to understand every line of the sicilian. Tried and failed terribly
