How powerful is Cedric Diggory? This one might surprise you! Of all the students at Hogwarts, Cedric was correctly chosen as the Champion! This was only his 6th year! There were 7th year students, with an entire year's worth of extra training that could have been chosen by the Goblet of Fire, yet it was clear that he should be the TRUE Hogwarts Champion! Cedric was extremely talented and gifted ~ He was the Pride of House Hufflepuff: Quidditch team Captain and Seeker! Academically, He earned at least Exceed Expectations in Charms and Transfiguration, and was chosen to be a prefect during his fifth year! Cedric also had extremely strong willpower. He had already committed to Cho Chang; when Fleur Delacour approached him with her Veela charm to ask him to attend the Yule Ball with her instead! Cedric easily declined her offer and kept his commitment to Cho! During the Tri-Wizard Tournament we only got a glimpse of Cedric’s powers: Stunning, Disarming, Bubble Head Charm, Transfiguration & more ~ But it’s clear that he’s probably one of the MOST powerful, yet humble students at Hogwarts. His magical abilities would have grown in the D.A. and in the fight against you know who ~ Cedric deserves, at least, a PowerScale score of ....

Even before the triwizard cup, during Harry’s 3rd year when the dementors showed up at the quidditch game, Cedric caught the snitch cause obviously Harry passed out. When Cedric found out what happened though, he said the match shouldn’t count. He was always such an incredible guy and he would have been an amazing ally in the battle at hogwarts

That's the only thing I like about Cursed Child. They bring more focus to his character and how he didn't deserve to die, but everything he went through was necessary for the storyline. He's always been one of my favourite characters, cause he was such a genuine, humble, talented and good person, loyal to the end.

Cedric is one of the characters who didn’t deserve to die imagine if he had trained with experts in spells charms dueling and defense against the dark arts and knew how to control them without being a dark wizard and trained in how to improve his powers and abilities and knew as much as Severus

It would have been so dope to see Cedric fight alongside Harry during the Battle of Hogwarts, I know a majority of Hufflepuffs stayed behind to fight alongside the Gryffindor’s, but Cedric could have been the named character representing Hufflepuff
