Hey Joe... another great comparison video - as always!
I noticed two topics that I haven't seen in a couple of your comparisons(I apologize if you did cover them and I missed it) is: Workflow and Live Streaming.
If you are new to content creation, no matter how cheap one of these non-phone cameras are, you will still need a computer to edit your footage > Workflow.
Additionally, a phone is the simplest tool for an aspiring Live Streamer.
I'm not saying your comparisons are invalid, they are very well thought out. I am only mentioning workflow because most people's only computer is their phone and live streaming because that is something none of these non-phone cameras can do without additional hardware to get them onto the internet.

As an iPhone 15 Pro user, I've embraced filming vlogs on my phone instead of relying on my Sony ZV-1 camera. The ability to edit and render footage in 4K HDR directly from my phone is astonishing. I'm particularly impressed with the iPhone 15 Pro's built-in microphones, which capture clear audio even in crowded environments like amusement parks. While an external microphone could enhance audio quality further, it's often unnecessary for most situations. Additionally, the GoPro Hero 12 (which I currently don’t own) offers impressive features, signaling the exciting advancements in filming technology. Thanks for the excellent video comparison!

Thanks for the recent series comparing iPhone 15, GoPro 12, & Dji pocket 3 and others in similar weight class! I've struggled with choosing a portable waterproof/weather resistant camera I can walk with and put at risk instead of more expensive gear. Still looking, but these videos have provided very good info.

I have the. iPhone 14 Pro and agree with your opinion about the digital look. Too bad it's still that over processed on your iPhone.
Philip Bloom seems to make it work with a mist filter + filmconvert nitrate (or similar software). I think I will go for Freewell VND+Mist in one filter.

Hey Joe! Loving these videos lately, would love to see an updated iPhone vs GoPro Hero 12 vs DJI OP3 video after the recent release of "Final Cut Camera" App for iPhones (with no additional costs). Many of the drawbacks of iPhones that you have mentioned in the video have been addressed with that app, like manual focus, white balance controls etc. Would love to hear your thoughts on that. Also it would be really helpful if you made a tutorial on how to use the app to its fullest potential.

I found the iPhone looked better, more detail overall and it is more than just a camera, and you always have it with you

GoPro is great for action etc and yes, I would buy both of them if you can as they are for different uses

Thanks for video! And I have a question for you like a newbee on youtube world. I starting my new channel now and I want to create relaxing videos such like a ocean view from the beach, driving the car in very beautiful roads, walking in the beautiful places etc... This morning I made few videos on the beach with my iPhone 15 Pro Max. And honestly... I was surprised and unsatisfied with quality. It looks not really good for YouTube and even on my 14'' laptop it looks... meh... But I'm not reach guy and not ready to buy pro cameras by Canon or Sony. I thought about GoPro 12 like a decision of my iPhone issue with quality. But after this video I'm not sure😅 So I want to ask your advice like experienced man - what should I choose for my tasks: 15 Pro Max or GoPro Hero 12? Which one is really more detailed? Because watching your video I can see GoPro not so good even as 15 Pro Max. Isn't it? Is it nice idea to upload videos on YouTube filmed with 15 Pro Max? My internal perfectionist says "omg its terrible quality, kill me please, I will not upload it for people, they dont deserve it..."😂 But at the same time I WANT to start my chanell and I feel a lot of energy from filming process, organizing the process, searching locations etc. Please, give me "magic kick"! 😁

I can't really snap my iPhone on my helmet and go down the slope with skiis jumping around...or dive from a boat and snorkel with Iphone...those details justify why gopro is actually invented..at the end of the day they both film amazing 4k if you sit kn the porch and point it. But it's like comparing bmw sport M class ( iphone ) with off road lifted adventure ready Jeep who can go everywhere bmw can't...but they both have 4 wheels and take you from point A to point B.

I have a GP 10. Have you noticed any improvements in the 12 that would prompt me to upgrade. I use my 10 mostly for 2nd and 3rd angle live music shoots. More indoor stuff.

Alright I have really been looking for a camera to get for photos and content creation, I have been looking at the Sony zve-10 and in that price range however the one thing I don't like about it is that it is not weather sealed so I have no clue if there is a camera like the ZVE-10 with weather sealing or am I just going to have a plastic bag around it?
