instructions still solid for Proxmox 8.2.2! (just didn't have to type "exit" upon initial VM run to get into BIOS.) REALLY appreciate the walkthrough!

Came here from Andreas Spiess's video 443. Worked like a charm first time, thanks. (Used scp to ssh the HA iso in terminal on MacOS). Subscribed.

Thanks so much for this video. A confusing install made clear and concise.

Thanks so much for creating this! Saw the video back in December and noticed you had this one for the secure boot that was causing HA not to start upon install.

Thanks for the video, been looking everywhere for how to resize the disk. This is the only tutorial I've seen that shows that.

Awesome instructions I was struggling to get my VM to boot. The disabling secure boot was the answer... Thank you!!!

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! This is how I understand the instructions, everything is clear and easy. I carried out all the work steps on Prommax 8.0.3 😀😀😀😀😁

if YT would allow me I would give 5 thumbs up ;-) thank you very much. Next I have to learn how I can pass a Zigbee USB stick to the VM.

Great video - I missed the part where you opted to use dhcp, where is that set and second question how could I make the vm have a static ip address

Great work. Thanks for that. Subscribed as well.

Nice video. To speed up the first bit you could perhaps just used wget on the Proxmox terminal to pull the HA image straight onto it rather than have to download and copy across?

Using Proxmox 8.2.4 and ran into trouble when the VM would not boot into HAOS after completing this tutorial. The fix was to choose VirtIO Block when adding the VM disk at 8:41 instead of leaving it on SCSI as shown in this video. I am inexperienced so it is possible something about my Proxmox setup requires this change when a "properly" set up system does not. Hopefully this helps someone else as I banged my head on the wall for an hour to figure this out.

I am also interested in the resizing and see other videos saying you have to do command line stuff to get the resize to stick. I'm confused...
