🔥 Ford F-150 Lightning RECALL due to battery fire 🔥 😲 #shorts

Ford is recalling 18 electric F-150 Lightning pickups due to a battery cell defect that caused a truck to catch fire last month. The recall is for vehicles that were already delivered to customers and dealers and were assembled with improperly produced battery cells that were built over a four-week period at a Georgia plant from supplier SK On. A Ford spokeswoman declined to disclose how many trucks Ford has in holding that may have the issue. The fire occurred during a pre-delivery quality check while the vehicle was charging, and Ford suspended production of the vehicles and issued a stop-shipment to dealers. Ford has sold fewer than 20,000 of the all-electric trucks so far, and the F-150 Lightning is being closely watched by investors as it’s the first mainstream electric pickup truck on the market and a major launch for Ford.

The automaker is applying quality actions to already-produced vehicles with batteries built in the four-week window, which they have been holding. Ford said it is not aware of any reports of accident or injury related to the battery issue or recall. The automaker reiterated that production of the F-150 Lightning is set to resume on Monday at one of its Michigan plants. Additional details should be available when the National Highway Transportation Administration officially issues the recall notice.

I really like the way ford look, they got style. The F250/F350 killing it and that little Maverick is something I would but if it wasn't powered by ford😅. Cummins in the big trucks, and a Toyota or Honda power plant I'm in.

Man toughen up, it’s all us Ford owners, on mine the seat belts were causing fires, the doors still occasionally freezes up and if you park on a hill use the emergency brake cause it might just take off on its own down hill, all this builds character, you EV owners don’t get all the fun and yep I Love my truck!!!
