Man, let me tell you something ;this is coming from a Gen X guy here, the dating and marriage scene today is a total 100% complete disaster. And I'll tell you what destroyed it; social media, online dating sites, and smartphones. 1000% truth.

The reason that I can positively say that with certainty, is because I noticed society's drastic change after 2009. From the late 90s through the early 2000s dating remained pretty much like what I remembered from the 80's and early 90's. But it was just a little more difficult, but not by a lot.

I can tell you all something right now and I'm speaking to the younger generation if this doesn't go away and we go back to the way it was at least to the '90s ( at least!!) civilization is going to collapse and you can take that to the bank.

And hearing others guys negative experiences with women, I tell you, I’ve lost interest in having a girlfriend, and I’m not interested in having one, at the end of the day we’re all going to die, so you are better living your life by yourself and in peace.

I'm an old lady now but this young man is so right and I see it everyday. What the hell are they thinking? I watched the generations before me in what I consider healthy relationships. These women are going to get old and have nothing. I have 2 sons and a daughter and my sons are too scared to look in the direction of some of these women because they go nuts if a man looks their way for the attention of others and my sons have said that almost every man they know feels the same way. These girls/women don't even know what true femininity is, they swear like truckers, they sleep with different partners almost weekly, they don't become mothers or amazing wives. I feel so sorry to today's male. Thankfully my daughter is one of those old fashioned women who cooks, cleans, takes care of children and her husband, stays at home, takes care of chickens, sheep, grows her own vegetables, etc. And that to me is more feminine than wearing a heap of makeup while covered in tattoos and then slipping high heels on while trying to appear feminine. It's almost contradictory.

It's so peaceful not having a girl around all the time. Times have changed and having time to yourself is where the true beauty lies. Just have to be happy with yourself to enjoy your own company. A lot of people don't have the strength to do that.
