Hello Gillian! It’s Nurse Dani. Breast milk does get digested more quickly than formula in a baby’s tummy but many studies have shown that formula-fed babies don’t necessarily sleep more or longer. Talk with your pediatrician about it and they can share their experience and opinions with you and help you make the best decision for you and your baby.

We do shift changes at night. Husband bottle feeds, then I nurse, and we take turns each feeding.

If you have a new baby can you just not start breastfeeding at night?

Baby is not here yet. Formula fed only my first and looking to BF 2nd baby due any time now. I heard that formula at night lets them sleep better, allowing me to get an extra hour or so at night of sleep but I don't want to confuse baby with formula if that could be an issue.

Can you please do a YouTube about the crazy experiences ain't nobody talk about dizzy spells feeling fatigued and overwhelmed when we're not getting rest why we're breastfeeding having high blood sugar and blood pressure affected while breastfeeding blood sugar. How can we establish a feeding chart and a feeding schedule and a male plan for ourselves with a chart outline with a route if you can create one I'm no good at it but all of those things will be really really helpful. Also what type of snacks it will be good to eat that will help keep our blood sugar and blood pressure levels good in between breastfeeding before meals or if we skipping meal because I always find myself as a single mother of four with a toddler and a newborn baby and a teenager and an 10 year old juggling everything and finding myself breastfeeding and feeling not okay and very fatigued and dizzy and I get migraines. Then I'm trying to work everything in my mouth just to fill okay and now im in my thirtys
