I am a Teacher - Official Video

When teacher shortages are at an all-time high and it feels like there’s a huge departure from the profession, I wanted to proudly state that I am a teacher. This passion led me, a 4th grade teacher from Jacksonville, Florida, to record a song called "I am a Teacher" which celebrates educators all over the country.

This song was inspired by Chapter 5 (Teacher Enthusiasm) in my professional development book "If Instruction Isn't Engaging, I Quit." This is one of 8 songs that correlates with the various chapters.
