roblox did a complete 180 and went from trying to get rid of classic stuff to making an event about classic stuff. its incredible how the roblox community can bully a multi million dollar company into giving us what we want

thinking about it now, it was smart for roblox to have 100 games for the hunt: first edition. if that event was test trial then maybe they wanted to see what games were willing to put in the effort and what games the community enjoyed. so they toned it down, forcing devs to make integrations like the games majority found fun last event. they also added some games that were previously in the hunt and had good events (in my opinion) like tower defense simulator

I joined during the end of the ROBLOX golden era, but I am still ecstatic about this event, mainly because The Hunt was incredible. It was so fun being able to come home and actually have something to do, rather than just binge-watching a bunch of videos. Anyway, thank you ROBLOX and the ROBLOX team and everyone who was involved in helping with the event in any way, we all love you guys!!! <333

I feel like the event might have been rushed. Yeah its been a short time since the hunt, so they possibly couldnt contact most devs of ''classic games'' but we gotta remember ROBLOX IS DOING EVENTS NOW, compared to 2020- 2024. Also, Kreek what's the plugin that you are using???

What roblox should actually do is fund rb battles, that is an event people would love for roblox to fund.

Here are some games I think should be in and why
The Strongest Battlegrounds: well for the hunt they already had something related to classic roblox called outsiders, it would be cool if they made an unlockable outsider moveset
MM2: I mean why the heck not it’s so fun and I’d consider it one of the staples of roblox
SFOTH: because 1. it’s made by one of the former roblox admins and 2. it was one of the first games
Crossroads: basically like SFOTH
Project Smash (kinda): we’ll I’d be fine if this got in or not, I mean it has the crossroads map and the other map I forgot :/ which are from classic roblox so maybe it could be in the classic? idk honestly
oh yeah and get rid of ttd it will achieve world peace

Things i hope to see in this event:
-OG games will participate (like Natural disaster survival, bake a cake back for seconds, work at a pizza place, og meepcity, etc.)
-Tribute to old players & figures like John Doe, Shedletsky, Stickmasterluke, etc.
-Revamp the menu & such to look like the og version
