I'm lucky enough to have been over to the Isle of Man twice (going back next year). The TT is an amazing event, but on top of that, the Manx people are so welcoming and friendly. Yes, the race is incredibly dangerous, but that's a secret to no one. The riders treat fans like family, and visiting as a spectator will have you making friends from around the world, and wanting to come back every year. I watched this video The first time it was uploaded with a huge smile on my face, recognizing so many places I've been. I'll be bringing 4 friends with me next year, and I can't wait to see my second family up in Ramsey!

The most important thing to note, and as someone who's English I recently learned....The Isle of Mann has nothing to do with Britain apart from our King being their King! It's so cool.

I'm not even in to sports and I thought this whole video was exceptional. The passion of the athletes really made this piece very engaging.

Keeping their own, very unique language is soo cool. Seeing them teaching adolescents is key because they grasp new language so easily. Once we are mid way thou life learning anything new, especially a language, , is challenging. Most of us - especially motorheads - have heard of "The Isle of Man TT" and watched videos in utter amazement. We cannot imagine what it must feel like to drive a motorcycle at speeds approaching 200mph along the curvy streets and roads of The Isle. Huge respect for all who join the race.

An excellent episode. I love competition. But now I’m older and enjoy watching others succeed. Yeah. This whole show was a prime example of competition at the highest and the novice.

He said miles per hour! That really made me smile. It kept me from reaching for my calculator as is usual have to do these days.

I love motorcycles. It would have been great to see a TT up close. The horse racers are impressive as are the skaters. Even in my best days, I could not skate for 7 hours.

The TT is a throwback to how racing was done many years ago: a minimum of rules, safety was the responsibility of the racers, and the fastest guy won. The few remaining F1 drivers from the 1960's can tell you that they were aware of the dangers and understood that they practiced on Friday, qualified on Saturday, raced on Sunday, and attended the funerals throughout the next week, but then they all showed up to practice the next Friday.

@17:30 Bill says, , ", , , some will say this race is too dangerous, , shouldn't be." We love Paul Phillip's answer, , "No one is forcing them to participate." May "The isle of Man TT" continue for as long as mankind plants their feet or rides their motorcycles on planet Earth.
