I have used lmodroid in my miatoll device. This felt like an inferior version of lineage (at least on miatoll). These are the cons of lmodroid that I have experience in miatoll.
1. Slow update cycle compared to lineage. Security updates can be few months behind the lineage.
2. Slow OTA update server and sometimes get stuck downloading the update.
3. No dedicated maintainer. Having a dedicated maintainer is sometimes helpful to report UI bugs.
