I bought mine over a year ago, when one of the other youtubers mentioned it.
It lives in my backpack, as a handy tool for small projects.

I love mine. Got it for $33 on a 25% off coupon and have been finding all sorts of uses for it. I paired it with a full set of the Pittsburg 1/4 inch sockets. The best part about The flex head is that if you have a bolt or screw you can set it at 90° and use it like a crank to speed things up.

I have the ICON bit set and love it! I believe the ratchet itself is made in the USA by Vim Tools out of Tampa, Fl. They have a similar rachet with a longer handle that is basically the same. They sell the tool and extension for the same price as the icon set minus the bits and the case. The icon comes with the great blow mold case and useful bits which nakes it the better value. Apply a 25% off HF coupon and it's s no brainer.

I bought something like this in a name brand many years ago and spent a bit more than 100 bucks. This one looks every bit as good.

When I was an auto mechanic, this would have been perfect for dash and other interior work in a car or truck. I have a larger kit that includes sockets, extensions, a driver from Snap-on's DIY Blue Point line, that was quite pricey when I bought it 12 years ago. This HF kit is geared for dash work better than my kit, and a lot more compact as well. If I was still in the business, I would get one of these kits to do that kind of work even with my kit I still have now for tinkering around the house.

I have this one! Love it. Perfect toolset to carry on my motorcycle. It was very hard to find when I bought it.

This set has a lot going for it (in features) that other sets do not have. I have a lot of tools including sets of security bits but I have nothing like the adjustable ratchet with extension. I will have to check this out because I can see it adding function to my already large set of tools. Thanks Dave.

I purchased one of these Icon flex head ratchet sets made in Taiwan about a year ago. Regular price was $45.00 but the sale price was $38.00.
I cannot find a fault, or even make a suggestion to improve this tool set. It is simply the best, even compared to the high priced American made sets.

OK, rule of thumb in quality of the Harbor Freight tool offers. Any Harbor Freight tools made in Taiwan are excellent. Most tools made in mainland China are junk. Simply look on the packaging for the place the tool was made. Hint: I had to ask the sales associate to check the inventory because the shelf space for the set was empty. (Lucky for me, they had two more sets in stock.)

Great little ratchet set. When I went and picked mine up they had to go in the back and look there was a few left but on the floor it was empty. So peeps don’t get let down to fast because they maybe just haven’t restocked and there’s some in the back 🤘🏻

Love my Milwaukee, but bits and sockets from Hf are fine. I enjoy the mix. Some tools I know I won’t use every day. I use my drill / impact often, and want it for years. Many bits, adapters I expect to replace as a consumable.

I have never noticed it s harbor freight. But I usually don't look at icon much. It looks like a valuable tool set. I'll check it out.

I use a VIM Half cut bit set on the daily at work. Overall length on the bits is like 5/8ths versus the normal 1" and the thing is invaluable.

Sunex has a couple items similar to that. One, #9726 may be closer as it has a ratchet, but isn't a flex head and the other, #9732 does have a flex head, but this set has spline drive sockets in addition to various bits. I've had the 9726 for a couple years (still the same price at $25) and plan on getting the 9732. All of those lil' sets are just plain handy to have around.

Looks nice and useful. I like tools in little convenient cases. I have a very old craftsman 3/8 inch ratchet and socket set that also came in a case that I've had forever. I believe I' use it and the sockets more than any of my other ratchets and sockets and I have a lot of tools.

Holy cow this is almost exactly what I want! I want a small tool that can do both driver bits and sockets, and can fit in my pocket. I recently bought the "GEARWRENCH 35 Pc. Microdriver Set - 85035". It seems okay so far, but now I'm kind of regretting not knowing about this option. I like the Gearwrench for being able to have a driver bit and a socket on it ready to go at the same time. But the Icon has the angled ratchet and a better case, and should have better reach.

Thanks Dave for showing the ICON
Locking Flex Head Ratchet and Bit Set, 35-Piece, I'll go buy it.

This seems like a useful everyday tool around the house especially for the stay at home wife that needs to tighten smaller loose screws.

Wira/Wiha makes a similar kit, which includes metric sockets in 2.5 to 13-mm. It does cost more though. I found a bunch of Wira tools, when cleanup after my Brother in Laws death. I’m very impressed with the with the quality of the finish on them. He was a bit of a hoarder, and multiples o most of the tools. My Sister is planning on divvying them up among the siblings.

I liked the Pittsburgh line of tools. Price is better with good quality. One video showed tool packaged as Icon but had Pittsburgh on the tool. Makes me question if Icon is just a name change to justify price increase.

I had this in my hand at HF last weekend. I ended up putting it back as I really only need it for the flex head ratchet as i already have a set up with bits and 2 other style ratchets. I hope they release that separately.
