Quick tips: if you wanna take the nasty poo tube out fan the tail fins out wide and look underneath right in the centre just before those fins start, you will see the butthole open up. Break off a piece of antenna roughly the same size and shove it up there wide end first so the spikes point back out, then slowly pull it out and the waste tract should come out.

Secondly, don't grab the antennae, they are designed to break off when grabbed by a predator. If you come at them and grab from behind that's best as they swim backwards, but otherwise grab the head or if you have to go for the antennae, the large knuckle closest to the head is pretty sturdy.

A hooked stick can be a helpful tool to coax them out of holes or try to stop them from going in but isn't necessary, I've also seen people use elongated hand nets.

Its Indonesian lobster, mostly found on warm water at night. They sometimes hide under the reef or some kind of structure. Commonly their body shines when get the light reach their skins at night hence itll be easy to spot them

Pro tip: if you’re buying whole lobster or crayfish, make sure it’s either precooked, frozen or alive. This may save you an unnecessary trip to the doctor for diarrhoea.
