For those who struggle with gliding here’s some hot tips:

Actually hold down jump for a second rather than tapping it, it makes a huge difference in the height you get.

Try jumping while charging at the same time then glide at the top of your jump, you’ll get further range.

Practice over and over again hitting glide at the very top of your jump. Do this on the ground rather than from a ledge where you’ll waste time and lives.

Make sure both Spyro and the camera are facing the exact direction you want to go. Adjusting direction mid flight shortens your range.

For those of you struggling with the ledge, hold down the jump button longer - it'll make your jump higher and you'll be able to glide to the ledge

I haven’t played Spyro since it was on gameboy advance. The ledge in this game held me up for a long time. Later in the game, you find out how easy it is to jump and glide at the highest point. You’ll see
