I had a lot of haters online call me stupid for buying a Gladiator. I bought it with 25k and it has 50k on it now. I’ve not had one issue. My buddy bought the new Colorado and it’s been sitting in his driveway while he continues to pay for it, as the dealer couldn’t fix or identify the issue. Toyotas had some issues with their turbos on the Tundra, ford has more recalls than any other company ever. The V6 in my gladiator is proven and dead reliable. Might not be the most powerful or engaging. But it’s reliable.

I have a 2020 wrangler rubicon and would really love to get one of these. Jeep messed up big when they jacked the prices up so high. Greed kills.

We have the 3.6 engine in our Wrangler and think it is pretty good. Just went over 17000 miles, including a trip of over 2000 miles and it didn’t miss a beat. So far our 2022 Wrangler Sport has performed well, with no issues.

70k is absolutely ridiculous! Paid 40k for my willys sport and I thought that was too much. Can't believe people are paying this much.

I have a 2024 Wrangler Rubicon extreme recon with a 3.6 L penta star and I absolutely love it! The V6 combined with the eight speed transmission performs flawlessly. Very good combination.

I love my 22 Gladiator. The upgrades are cool for a 24 but not enough to entice me into moving into a new one.

would have been helpful to detail the differences between the Rubicon and the X

My Wife got her JL Wrangler Sahara in 2018 and hit 100k this year. The only issue has been the stop/start battery dying once and the head unit needed to be replaced once. My 2022 Willy’s Gladiator is about 27k miles with 0 issues. I’ve accepted that it’s a Jeep and not any of the sports cars I’ve owned over the years. I don’t feel like the V6 is a slouch unless I’ve got it loaded up. Honestly if Jeep would just beef up the weak payload number and the V6 a little bit, I could take my family of 5 and our gear out on trips with a little more confidence.

I got a 23 Gladiator High Altitude. with the current rebates it was a decent deal. I didn't see the point of the Rubicon, Because like people have said, the departure angle is awful. So I don't need a rock crawling beast. Something that can handle light trails, or the occasional light flooding from a storm while everyone is stuck at home. That's all I need.

I also don't need to tow an excavator. So the towing and payload are fine for me.

And honestly, I dont know what it is. I know its not fast, doesn't handle the greatest. But when I drive this truck. I really enjoy it. I love how solid the doors sound when closing them. The truck feels robust. I like how the dashboard isn't deep like 99% of the vehicles today where you need a 4 foot squeege to clean the inside. Just very satisfied right now.

I like the red dash. Gives one a bigger feel. It's like the feature wall on a room. I have the 2020 Jeep Rubicon Gladiator 70k, with it regeared to 5:13 and 35 inch tires. Just installed a Rugged Ridge HD Stubby bumper. I got a special order Gorrilla glass windshield. The dealer did not warranty the replacement windshield in the two year warranty. At 59K I had to replace the rocker arms and lifters in the engine under warranty. I think the long 8K oil change interval and 0W20 oil instead of 5W20 or 5W30 is the cause. I like the unit.

There are a lot of BMW, Audi, Mercedes, Lexus and Tesla owners in my neighborhood, but the look on their faces when I drive by in my gloss black Gladiator is clearly one of abject envy. Sure, we all paid way too much for these vehicles, but I am pretty confident that they are not as happy with their purchases as I am with mine.

I’m glad to see this have 4WD Auto as I haven’t seen it on the online builder! We can only hope the new 3.0L Hurricane will end up under the hood in the Gladiator, Wrangler and Grand Cherokee they desperately need it!

I've had my Jeep Wrangler Rubicon for 3 years now and have never replaced my windshield. No chips or cracks either. I know I been lucky.

I'm considering buying one this year, but I am still debating on the Wrangler. I like the one-touch top

I’m a Jeep guy through and through. I’m on my 6th since 1996. However, just going by the title, I would never call a Gladiator “the ultimate truck”. Maybe the ultimate stock overlander, but truck? Not hardly.

Thanks for the review. I’m actually buying this model from Larry H Miller next Friday so if you ever need a Rubicon X for comparison, let me know.
I told the sales manager to thank you as I would’ve never found them without your video
