I am so happy it was bought by a group called the Lynnewood Hall Preservation Foundation and they are going to restore it and open it to the public.

It’s amazing how different music can change the feel of content.

One could have paired this with some creepy - eerie music which could make this place seem not worth living in by inducing some sort of fear.

But you toss Debussy in there and it just makes it feel memorable, enchanting, and give it that feeling of a hope and restoration.

This house was designed by Horace Trumbauer, who also designed the nearby Philadelphia Museum of Art, and the Supreme Court building in Washington. This house needs to be restored at any cost. There will never be another guilded age.
