A rare manuscript version of “Good Morning to You” - the tune that eventually became “Happy Birthday to You,” the most widely sung song in the world – was recently discovered hidden in an old filing cabinet located in the UofL Music Library archives. Music library director James Procell describes what it was like to unearth a rare piece of American history, as well as the significance behind the discovery.

I szng the Good Morning to All song during my kindy time. Everyone thought that it was from Happy Birthday song, not knowing is the other way round.
Btw, Patty Hill is one of the founders for NAEYC.

"copy right"? I thought this bs is recent. I personally wouldn't know "good morning to all 1893" exist, and so billions of people around the world, I guess. The publisher should be more than happy the melody keeps going.

Question: What makes people happy?
