The TBI especially in the XC models is a complete world apart from the previous TPI model. It’s just that you’re riding it like an old XR250 at 1/4 throttle.
If you watch a video of someone pushing it, you’d know that it would rip your arms off if you opened the throttle

Have you changed the gearing? 14/48 is pretty high. How's the spring forks?

How well can this bike "cruise" at 45-50mph. Want to make a street legal 2 stroke (to get to local trails) but have about a 15 minute ride to them. My KTM 500 is great in that aspect but is not great in the tight stuff. Would love if the XC worked out. Any input?

It's a bit difficult to understand your voice over the sound of the engine. I presume you're using the microphone on the gopro itself instead of one tucked inside the helmet.
