My very first dirtbike! Seeing that big yellow GT on the tank brings back a lot of great memories.

My first dirt bike circa 1975 version of this. Fun times were had. Great bike to ride. Moved up to a MX 100 in 79 then the 80 YZ 250. Yamaha 2 strokes were awesome.

Hey mate! Great video! Did you solve the sputter and pop? It could be running a little lean, either via float heights or your air screw, try screwing your air screw in half a turn, and if you know how to adjust float heights do that as well. One other issue is the it could be “spitting” out the head with a bit of a head gasket leak. Check for any dampness / leaks around the head. Either way I wouldn’t worry too much because it’s running ok!

What it is is that it is running rich What that means is it is getting to much fuel and not enough air
