After doing a few changes to my Yamaha Gt80 I decided it was time to go out for another top speed run, unfortunately it wasn't the best weather to go on this endeavor, but I did get the job done with and increase of 1 mph on the top speed this time. Awesome little bike better weather on the way soon! As always thanks for watching!

Hi, I'm from Nicaragua, Central America. In 1992 I bought a 2-stroke yamaha gt 80cc motorcycle, I bought it from a neighbor for US$800 with an 8-month term but since I had an accident 2 times, I paid for it in 10 months hahaha. In 1995 I sold it and I regret it to this day because I lent that money plus US$200 to add US$1, 000 and they didn't pay me, my father's cousin was my rat lawyer hahaha Until now when I see this video and hear that sound it came to me mind my cute little Yamaha GT 80cc two-stroke motorcycle. GOD BLESS YOU MUCH MORE.

I nearly fell off my chair trying to keep your bike upright, but you kept us both safe. So that's all good.

I learned to ride on my aunt's after she got older. My older bro then me. My cousin ended up with it and my aunt just bought it back last year for her daughter. I'm gonna get it running again for them.

I grew up riding that exact bike in the snow. We put a huge back tire on it and it never got stuck.

Thank you for putting this up. I just bought a pair of these bikes in need of work. I'm in Canada and having a hell of a time finding parts, some luck on e-bay. Do you have any recommendations, I may have missed them in previous comments so I apologize if you've gone over this already

"Sometimes maybe I use poor judgment". You crack me up. Maybe you should have been snowmobiling like I was today.

By the way, your temperature conversion is a bit off, 10°F equals -12°C and 23°F equals -5°C. I think 73°C would probably be the end of life on Earth, the hottest ever recorded was 56°C (134°F) in Death Valley.

In reference to the main jet. My GT80 has always run very rich between 1/2 to full throttle. Stock main jet calls for #92(which is in there) The bike pulls really hard before running out of fuel with the petcock closed. I've talked with other owner which have the same symptoms. Would swapping to a #75 be a good starting point ? Were these bike deliberately jetted rich from the factory ? Swapping a #75 from a #92 seems drastic . . . Any opinions would be helpful. Thanks in advance.
