I have absolutely no idea why youtube recommended me this video, but I couldn't stop watching. Good job.

I used go alligator gar fishing with my dad when I was young. The best memories of my life with my daddy, he went to be with the Lord in 2000.
Watching your video brought me so many memories, thank you so much ❤️

I watched this back when it first came out. You’ve got some impressive knife skills.

I will more than likely never use what I have learned here but I was extremely entertained and it was a good tutorial 👍

Even though I'm watching 2 yrs later DAM that was amazing and Very Cool. Lots of meat , that gar was like watching you hack through a tree. Dam that's a very hard shell skin . No wonder your built like a tank, you need all that muscular force to get to the good stuff. Well done and loved the video.Great teaching as well. Hopefully you're still doing videos . 👏👏👏👏👏👍✌️🙃🇨🇦

It is STUNNING that with the amount of time you spent cutting toward your hand, you left with everything intact. Impressive

mate you had me stressing when you were swinging that cleaver towards your arm and sure enough you had the swing and miss and just missed ur arm lmao jesus you nearly died with the Gar this night hahaha my other fav part was the once sharp cleaver being hacked into stainless steel benchtop. I'm not nocking you I'm just impressed, this really is a great video all round. Well done!

You know, when I was younger I used to ask my father why we toss back alligator gar, since they're such huge fish. He always told me they're too much effort to clean. Now I see he wasn't kidding.
