This is a dramatically simplified video guarantee to misled the in experienced people into some very expensive mistakes. First thing, all you said was "do not damage the brake lines. The Yaris you worked on may not be equipped, but the later models have ABS and there is a small electrical plug to the bearing sensor. That wire get pulled out of the connector very easily and is expensive to replace, if you can even get it easily.(E Bay) I was given a spare plug with wires attached and I had to solder the wires and seal it, it is like micro surgery. The other items is, even after 4 years the bearing will be seized to the axle, I tried jacking it out and found 3/8 bolts too weak. I destroyed the old one with a sledge hammer. You pulled yours out like it just left the factory. I have to do the other side now, Toyota seems to have a quality problem of those Yaris made in France., mine is 2017. This time I will not fight the bearing, I will loosen the 4 holding bolts, put the drum and tire back on and drive around a few miles, and let the weight of the vehicle work for me. I do use anti seize on it so it will not be so bad next time. First of all, unplug that ABS and tape the end.

This video helped me do my 09 yaris sedan back in March. I did the driver side rear. Gotta do the passenger side rear Sunday. I live in Chicago my drums were on there super tight from the rust. I noticed using 14mm bolts on the drum in the drum holes helped the drum pop right off

What year Yaris is that? I have a 2012 Yaris and I definitely think it's time to replace the rear wheel bearings. I hear a bit of a rough noise coming from them and I know it's not the brakes.

Mine seems to make a noise, after only 195, 000 miles! And it costs 250 bucks, comes out to about 0.128 cents per mile. Not too shabby!

Is a torque wrench a must? I'm short on cash and can't really afford to buy more tools.

DIY is always a good way to save money, but you have to suffer. In the end you always learn a lot more about the product you own.

Where's the affiliate links to the tools you used, the loctite, the bearings. Easy money and would hav made my life easier if the links were here

You could have saved money buying the non-ABS hubs since you didn't have rear ABS.

Those Yaris cars go through bearings fairly fast, must be a weakness they have.

Step by step, you forgot to show unplugging the abs connector.

75ft/lbs is too tight. Spec is 67ft/lbs - (75 is for the wheel studs)

What a stupid design I loved my neon when it had a son or not just to break loose slides right off and put a new one right back on! I can't stand Japanese vehicles it'll be my first and last I'll never buy another one ever again
