The new Dacia Jogger Hybrid shares most of its engine components with the Renault Clio and Captur E-Tech. It uses a 1.6-litre petrol engine paired to an electric motor to produce a combined 140hp. It has a small 1.2kWh battery on board which allows you to drive in pure-electric mode for short periods and a low speed, ideal for slow-moving city traffic. It also starts in electric-only mode to make it more punchy off the line at junctions.
With Jogger HYBRID 140, everything is simple: the battery recharges by itself when you decelerate and brake. The smart automatic gearbox combined with the energy management system optimises the vehicle's performance and consumption. The main reason for buying the Jogger Hybrid over the standard model is added fuel economy. Dacia claims this new version will return 56.5mpg,
