Not only are they super late with features like the OLED display, but you are also paying the highest price for a phone and you still have to buy extra dongles and stuff to make it function normally...

Android has had these features from a few years ago. Android has had better customization, better features, 4k display, rapid phone charge, hardware and software...but if you wanna camp out for the IPhone like some people do. Whatever I still dont gwt why people do that

You absolutely DO NOT and should not have to change your phone every year or every two years. Not only is it very expensive, but it's HORRIBLE for the environment!!

AYEE SARA IS BACK! Also just as part of my own personal opinion on the iPhone X: I totally love the new screen and everything else about it except the LACK OF TOUCH ID...the lack of is a big downer for myself as I can think of a lot more times where the new Face ID would be more of a hinderance rather than a assistance for myself :/. APPLE, WHY COULDN'T YOU HAVE JUST PUT TOUCH ID IN THE POWER BUTTON?? Anyways because of that I'm likely going to stick with the iPhone 8 Plus rather than iPhone X :((

Also edit: I usually upgrade every two years so I'm still on an iPhone 6s atm :)

I am very swayed by the ability to turn myself into a poop emoji, but I just got the 7plus. I'm still about only upgrading every 2-3 years. 💩

Sara you do realise that every other phone manufacturer had all these things years before Apple? Apple went from innovator to simple copycat in a really short amount of time. And the pricing for those devices is just absurd ...

I will only upgrade when my phone is no longer able to get the work I need to be done. No need for USB-c on PC laptop and able to edit 4K video. I say no to the dongles and would only have the hyper drive. Like to know if the laptop will over heat while it is on that case. Does it have enough space to move air with-in the computer? BTY Great video as always.

New phone every year? I don't know about that....not for a phone. Most of the stuff we do with the phone doesn't need full upgrades every year. I think that's a HUGE money sync. The X is a nice phone, I'm not in the market for one yet, but would consider it when it's not the top dog. I'm good with tech that makes ME money, my iPhone 6 won't make me less money than the X  so that's how I see it. 

PS: Waiting for those nose IMAC PRO's though...i'm old school I guess,  I like me my desktops for editing. 

Everybody is different and I'm cool with that ;)

My concern is that with the upgrade every year thing and increasing prices that it's going to widen the technology gap.

Technology changes lives. Disruption is great but when it's inaccessible the gap between us early adopters and the average person gets wider and wider and technology will be the foundation of the new economy. That is a bit heavy but it's something on my mind.

I got my first smart phone, the Samsung Galaxy S5, when it first came out and I still have it (3-4 years?). Before that I had the same cell phone for all 4 years of high school. One of my passions is living a simple, frugal, & low expense lifestyle - so I won't be upgrading until I feel like I need to. I hope everyone who gets the iPhone X has fun & recycles their old phones! Thanks for the videos, Sara. I like hearing about your experience with the newest tech gadgets.
