I loved every page of this book, and wept at the end. It's so wise, and so profound, and so very human.

It was such a bizarre read. Talk about an underrated book, and definitely an underrated adaption of a Greek Myth

Even though I agree with those who say this book is kind of bizarre and a drag to get through for the first three quarters, it's still one of my favorite books ever! It's really unlike anything else I've ever read. It definitely isn't a book that you want to spoil, because the impact comes from going on Orual's journey alongside her every step, only seeing things through her eyes right up until the end.

Agree with you, stick with it and everything you waded through before you get to the "point" is highly significant!

Still I don’t get it. I am a concrete thinker- very black and white. I don’t see any WOW about this book. Can someone connect the dots for me about these:
What is so masterful about the writing of this book?
What is the WOW I missed at the end?
How does it relate to Christianity, as I see some have commented above?
What are the illogical decisions in Psyche and Cupid that troubled CSL, and how did he change them in “Faces”?
I welcome any and all replies discussing this work.
