Also they released a demo so you can try before you buy! I love how they did this for the Hyrule Warriors and Persona 5 games as well. We need more demo of the beginning of games stuff like Nintendo does and carries your save file over to the full game after.

I LOVED Three Houses. It was the first game I ever played of the genre. And the first game I ever finished after YEARS of not playing/completing games in general. I'm really excited to one day get this one!!!

I played and enjoyed FE Warriors as well as Three Hopes demo. But I just could not get into the full game. The reason being, I played the same map over and over (probably like 10 times?) and still have not gotten that S rank. As a result, it felt very tedious to play.

Bought this since I love the characters from Three Houses. Been playing the warriors games for over 20yrs.

One of the biggest complaints from Three Houses was that most of the routes ultimately felt fairly similar to each other and had quite a bit of overlap. With this game, at least up to chapter 9, the routes feel very unique to one another. The stories are essentially running pseudo-parallel with the biggest change being which side of the conflict you see.

Its an extremely minor spoiler as its something you discover in the first 5 minutes of the game but having Byleth as a secondary antagonist has really allowed their character to develop a lot more than they did in the first game. Essentially every minor complaint I had about the writing in Three Houses has been addressed and expanded on in this game. Absolutely my surprise Game of the Year.

What surprised me the most was how they implemented the class system into a warriors game like this. Unlike the previous FEW you can actually experiment and try different character builds like you would do in a normal FE game

The one thing I really like so far is how well shez fits in overall almost like she in my case could of been in the original game.
Koei tecmo might suck at making there own games most of the time but they seem to knock it out of the park when it comes to there licensed spin off games.
