And here we are, 122 years after this show takes place...still dealing with the same things. As Stokes said in a recent interview, the line in the show after Sarah's death: "it will happen again/It will happen again and again and again" I hope that more and more people find this show and start to take its messages to heart. We need the healing that it can provide. 🙏🏻

I'm in a production of this show at a local community theater. we have our final dress rehearsal with an audience tonight. I'm so happy and honored to be doing this show. It's a beautiful and powerful musical. This is one of the best opening numbers to a show. I love it!!!

I remember watching this on CBS back in the day... glad someone taped it! That's also how I discovered Cabaret... There some bawdy jokes about this being sponsored by Tampax and Cabaret being the show that requires no Vi*gra
