I remember well when I worked for the Range Rover dealer in the Netherlands that this model came out.
We had an orange demo model, which I sold not much later for just € 97, 750 a real bargain.
The woman who bought it wanted to take it to Croatia for vacation, and could not wait for the order to arrive so she bought the demo for the asking price.

And the reputation of Range Rover did not fail, the car broke down half way through her trip.

Had to tow it back (from Italy I think) and swap the engine after 1500km...
I never felt so ashamed working there.

Hoovie may have single-handedly sold every one of these things that are available. I think it did a lot better than most would reasonably expect especially with street tires. That was fun! Do it again but faster!!!!
