Hardcore Minecraft is some of the most fun and popular Minecraft. Why isn't it on Minecraft Bedrock? In this video we take a look at a version of hardcore I found on the Minecraft Bedrock store.

As an exclusively Bedrock player, if I had to choose between hardcore and being able to carry a useful torch in my off hand I'd take the torch. But this is a cool attempt at hardcore...I guess.

I'd love to try Hardcore on Bedrock, but this might not be the pack for me. The customization is kind of nice, but honestly I just want a vanilla Hardcore-mode feel with a new seed each time.

One of the devs was actually playing using spectator mode on bedrock during the minecon, so I am really hoping they will go ahead and add spectator mode and hardcore mode to bedrock soon
Edit: they did indeed add spectator mode to Bedrock Edition :D

You can play hard-core on bedrock. Just don't die. If you die, be a real gamer and delete the world and start again. Keep yourself accountable

I really wish, as a bedrock player, that I could play hardcore. I want to try it so bad, and don’t feel like buying Minecraft AGAIN just to get Java edition. I get having different mechanics depending on what platform you play on but game modes? I feel like that should’ve been the same on both Java and bedrock from the very beginning.

I think the deepdark setting makes you get blindness if you step out of the light when you go below a certain level in the world

Honestly I would be down for them to just pick an update, call it the parity update, and fix EVERYTHING they possibly can with parity in one fell swoop and be done with it. They can had just a handful of small new features like a couple new blocks or new stairs/slabs like tuff stairs/slabs so we get at least SOME new content but 95% of their attention could be on parity for that update.

I'd definitely like to see hardcore baked into Bedrock. For the time being, i just put it on hard and manually delete the world if I die.

Nice video btw.
What I usually do is put my world on hard mode on Bedrock.
Then whenever I die, I then save and quit.
Afterwards delete the entire world.
It's not much, but it's the least I can do to recreate Hardcore.

About getting the leather armour, stone tools etc - there is a setting ‘starter pack’ which gives you them so if you don’t want them don’t select that one :)

I think the reason it is using 1.17 terrain is because bedrock marketplace worlds stay in the version they are created in, basically bedrock emulates older versions of the game so that older maps don't break.

Thanks for doing this video! I was literally about to buy it last night, but you showed me what I feared, the seed gen was the same. I still might try it out anyway, but I went with a one block/sky block. Love to see you do a bedrock video on one of those!

Wattles, you can just get a resource pace that has hardcore hearts and a data pack that makes it in able to respond (these are free) on bedrock.
