Actually with charcot foot I've been told to find ways to offload my weight from an ulcer prone area formed by the fact that now instead of an arch I have a lump of bone where the arch was. So not always even weight distribution. And the professional shoe and insert people are just not good enough. I would think with so much passage of time in the industrial era and with study of diabetes all these years there would be better products available, and not cookie cutter one-solution-fits-all type of inserts.
