How to remove phpMyAdmin Access denied Error #1045 in wamp server

After installing a wamp server and trying to access phpMyAdmin, you could possibly encounter the error: #1045 Access Denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using password: NO).

this video helps me a lot...but after following this i had a another problem here...when i go to the phpmyadmin page, it gives a dialogue box for login when i'm trying to enter the username as root and password as blank and i click on go it results an error called #1045 Cannot log in to the MySQL me here...thankx in advance

I installed mySQL and set a password 'abc', when trying to use phpMyAdmin through XAMPP while connecting Apache and MySQL, I had to do this and put the password 'abc'. It def works! If any of you here on the comments has a problem, make sure to use the correct password you set!

yes it worked for me, I initially created the DB but remembered the password that I entered and issue resolved. Suggestion; nreinstall the wamp and do it again in case you don't remember your password
