I am using Lenovo i3 with 8 GB RAM and 256 GB SDD. It is cheap and fast and found its value for money. Earlier I was using HP which was failing again and again. I am happy with Lenovo.

My only advice is, get an expensive laptop if you are going away from home for your college, that is to a different city. Else, koi bhi laptop with a decent i5 processor will do. I would rather suggest you to invest on a desktop. A desktop's efficiency is always better and it outclasses laptop in every way possible
