Just to clear some things up as an ex taco bell employee:

The tortilla they use for the enchirito is the same size as the soft taco, smaller than the bean burrito. The "enchilada" sauce they cover it with is the exact same red sauce they put in bean burritos. An enchirito is literally just a smaller bean burrito with the sauce on the outside and one scoop of beef.

It used to be one of my favorite items to get from there until I became an employee. Now I just order a bean burrito with extra red sauce and a scoop of beef. Tastes EXACTLY the same and is easier to eat.

When I worked there as a teen, I used to bring hamburger buns to work. As a kid, I loved their Bellbeefer, which they stopped making.

The best thing Taco Bell ever made was the XXL grilled stuffed steak burrito. It was a full size burrito that filled you up and we actually good. They removed it and replaced it with 20 gimmicky left over items mixed together as “new dishes”

Hardee's/Carl's JR used to have Red/Green Burrito as a sort of side project that offered a Taco Bell-like menu. Their titular product was basically the Enchirito. Burrito with either red or green enchilada sauce.

The OG one I remember was a shredded chicken burrito that had rice cheese shredded chicken and the enchilada sauce on top. Made great strides in how big backed i got as a kid.

I still remember when Mexican pizzas had green onion and black olives on them that was my fave as a kid we had a Taco Bell that never got a remodel since the 90’s with all its retro colors and shapes and physical decor from the 90’s like Mexican hats on the wall cloth art macrame, fake potted plants🪴it was fun they never ended the land the quarter in the water game either lol

My dad would get this with extra onions on top when I was younger (no black olives he doesn’t like them lol) then I started getting them then they disappeared honestly my biggest loss 😅
