How to upgrade an old Toilet Flush System

This video shows, in detail, how to upgrade an old avalanche type toilet flush mechanism to a modern flush outlet valve. The new system is a Supa Flush Outlet Valve, supplied by Dutton Plastics Engineering (DPE), Alberton. Being a Universal Fit kit, it replaced the 40-year old system without much trouble.

Nice Willie, I had the same valves as that one in my Centurion house, the only thing I ever had to replace is that red rubber seal, after 7 to 10 years it get soft and gooey (sticky) it sort of collapse and disintegrated, a new cost not even R3 I guess, very good system, ek hou van jou skoon lappe aan die lyn, myne is altyd vuil met sy eie karakter, as ek 'n skone soek dan is een altyd skoner as die ander, lol

This toilet is disgusting so why would you convert it to dual flush you could get a brand new toilet that is dual flush
